Big news for the Rangers Elite family.
Vista Ridge Youth Sports has officially joined Hill Country Pop Warner! This marks a major turning point for our organization as well as youth football in Cedar Park & central Texas.
For almost a decade our student athletes have enjoyed competing against our cross-town rivals Cedar Park, Westlake, Rouse, Glenn, Leander, and others. With the news that Central Texas AYF would not be moving forward with yet another season our board decided it was time for us to make our own way and forge a new path, a new chapter in Vista Ridge Youth Sports. We look forward to once again competing against those organizations in the near future and wish them the best in their new league homes this fall.
HCPW currently has 12 local football and cheer associations, and we are looking forward to competing against some new competition like Lake Travis, Vandergriff, Westlake, NYSA, Dripping Springs, Del Valle, Georgetown, SWA Dawgs, Trojans, West Austin Corsairs, & NHO.
This is an exciting time for Vista Ridge Youth Sports, and I want to assure our families, players and coaches that this decision to move to HCPW was made after careful deliberation. Our league steering committee, consisting of Chris Zurba, Jason Reichold, Kyle Froelich & Joshua Carnes spent several hours in meetings, phone calls and text with several wonderful central Texas youth football leagues as well as the presidents of the other local feeder organizations. Thank you to everyone for the open dialogue and communication.
We believe that making the move to HCPW is what’s best for our organization in this upcoming season as well as for future seasons to come. This move not only benefits our Vista Ridge youth football program but positions us for success as a true feeder program.
Now… It’s time, time to move forward, time to put in work, time to prepare for the season ahead of us. Remember, Tradition Starts Here. Today we begin getting ready for new competition, new championships to win, new mountains to climb.
All In. One Team. One Choice. Being A Ranger Makes You Elite.
